One of the year's largest gatherings of health and safety experts and policymakers took place in Birmingham this week (19 to 22 May 2003) - The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Congress 2003.Talks at the event included Government plans to get the injured and ill back to work, a row over the impact of safety representatives, a warning that police are "champing at the bit" to prosecute companies, advice on whistleblowing and how the team approach can mean better safety and accident investigation.
