New 'corporate responsibility' guidance published
A new guide has been published urging UK companies to recognise the impact of their actions on "the three R's" – recruitment, retention and reputation.
Calling on organisations to take corporate responsibility seriously, the guide from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) suggests employers look beyond statutory obligations, as well as outlining how businesses should report on corporate responsibility.
It also reminds directors of their legal obligation to produce a 'Business Review' that addresses the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
